Synopsis
The client was looking to integrate an advanced airport management solution to optimize, modernize, and improve the passenger experience. Coforge was the chosen selected System Integrator to render the services on-premise. From a central location, an effective AOCC was implemented with a centralized AODB providing access to real-time data to all users. The integrated solution was implemented for 12 airports across the country with ongoing support from Coforge.

The client manages over 120 airports and provides Air Traffic Management Services (ATMS).
Business Challenge
The client wanted to integrate an Airport Management Solution that is customizable to support and enhance multiple airport operations from landside to airside. The objectives to be achieved:

- Modernize systems to improve efficiency
- Improve passenger experience
Our Solution
Coforge implemented an effective Airport Operations Control Centre (AOCC) with a centralized Airport Operations Database (AODB). Multiple modules of the airport management system were integrated with the existing system. The integration gave access to real-time data to better anticipate, plan, and control airport operations and assign assets and resources more effectively.
The integrated solution, implemented for 12 airports across the country, is driven from a single location (MAA) with DR at another airport (CCU) and provides real-time information to all users. From a central location, the implemented system controls all functions such as resource management of fixed and mobile resources, Service level agreements (SLAs), passenger communications, billing, etc.
Coforge was the System Integrator for this mega program in 2013, that involved over 20 multiple vendors, to successfully implement the services on-premises. Coforge is continuing to provide maintenance support for this project for the last 7 years and meeting all defined SLAs agreed with the customer.
