Coforge's Zero Waste strategy focuses on creating a circular economy within our facilities and beyond. Since the inception of this project in 2022, it has already impacted over 450,000 residents in Noida, India, and Coforge aims to benefit over 1.1 million lives by the end of the year.
We are implementing a comprehensive waste management plan that includes:
- Waste Reduction at Source: Actively promoting practices that minimize waste generation throughout our operations.
- Recycling and Composting: Robust recycling and composting programs to divert waste from landfills.
- Community Engagement: Partnering with local communities, across all 165 sectors in Noida, to promote waste reduction and responsible waste management practices through educational workshops and community clean-up drives.
- Mobilized Waste Collection: A dedicated heavy-duty vehicle ensuring efficient waste segregation and collection.
- Promoting Reusable Alternatives: Cloth bag vending machines installation to encourage a shift away from plastic bags.
