Transforming ecommerce platform for a Multinational supplier of Workspace Solutions
Overview.
A multinational supplier of Workspace Solutions underwent a significant transformation of their ECOM platform. This involved migrating over 10 B2B/B2C sites, each operating in multiple countries and languages, from a custom legacy system to the SAP Commerce Cloud. As a result, the websites received a substantial makeover, the experience for partners was enhanced, promotional capabilities were improved, and customer-centric omnichannel capabilities were introduced.
Our client, a leading expert in Workplace Solutions, was maintaining legacy B2C and B2B ECOM sites for multiple countries (total 25+ sites) and was unable to scale these existing sites to cater to increased customers visits. To meet their business vision, client was looking to Re-platform all their websites and move to modern SAP Commerce Cloud ecommerce platform with shorter timelines
Solution
Coforge implemented SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris). We configured and customised SAP Commerce to integrate with the existing legacy systems, with minimal changes.
Seamless integration of new payment solutions to provide multi-payment options to consumers
Key features like navigation, search, redirections, SEO ranking etc. have been migrated/custom implemented in new SAP Commerce based website.
End-to-End Quality Engineering of new website with high quality
In-parallel, Coforge also maintained existing sites to avoid any day-to-day business disruption
