QA to QE transformation for Oracle Fusion-powered e-commerce platform
Overview.
Customer identifies, develops and provides high-quality biological reagents and tools for drug discovery, diagnostics and basic research. The Supplier Portal integrates with Oracle Fusion systems, deployed over Oracle sales cloud, and provides real time updates to both customer and the Supplier. Which lead to Coforge developing an End-To-End test automation solution.
Oracle Fusion is integrated with various other systems for different business functions, like registration/ qualification to manage RFQ/RFI/ auction responses, manage purchase orders, invoices, and site details. And these systems were tested in silos and end-to-end business process testing was missing
Manual testing for multi-country was very tedious and error prone.
All testing was done manually.
There was absence of enterprise test strategy
Solution.
Coforge assessed the customer applications, business functions and created a dependency matrix which enabled creation of end-to-end business process test cases. Coforge developed TestNG, Selenium, and Cucumber based automation framework for end-to-end test automation.
