Overview.

A Central Asian air carrier pilots domestic and international flights to 64 destinations. Servicing about 3.24 million passengers per year and employing over 4000 employees, the airline aimed to expand its fleet size from 30 to 43 aircraft in a little over ten years.  
 
The client wanted to revamp its revenue accounting system to increase revenue and traffic capabilities. The airline sought to align its revenue account system with its long-term profitability goals.

Apart from the challenge of its fleet expansion, it had a few other challenges to meet: 

  • Extensive time spent on fare proration 
  •  No ability to issue Agency Debit Memos (ADMs) through their existing system.  
  • Inability to load fare data, perform fare and tax audits, and automatically enter flight schedules.
