Overview.

Client is a charitable organization that tackles all aspects of dementia by giving help and hope to people living with dementia today.

Challenges.

  • Case documents and related material spread across the system. It was not possible to have an accurate view of the documents being worked on with their deadlines.
  • Multiple versions of documents leading to rework, loss of work and Communications notes etc. on paper, emails etc.
  • Maintaining security and confidentiality of the information - Unauthorized Access

Solution.

  • Implemented multi-platform case management desktop app using ElectronJS framework.
  • Native integration with Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
  • Implemented serverless API layer and hosted on Azure
  • Azure storage account and functions used to build rest APIs and centralized document repository
  • NoSQL (Azure CosmosDB) used for data storage

  • Increased operational efficiency up to 80%, reducing user effort up to 60% and made business operations more effective.
  • Extensible application architecture that made it easy to support additional channels (mobile)
