Customer across their 5 different sites were heavily dependent on paper based and manual approach for their physical stock verification, adjustments and approvals, which was causing delay in material dispensing and other manufacturing activities. Manual Stock verification and tracking approval log for audits was a tedious job.
Solution
Since standard SAP solution doesn’t support the approval & customer specific audit requirements, user friendly custom application was developed to record physical stock based on Materials and Batches.
System determines the variance quantity/percentage based on difference between physical stock & stock as per system.
Users will have an option to record the justification and whether the variance is allowed.
Submitted documents are forwarded for approval as per the workflow configuration.
System generated notifications are triggered to approving authority for review of submitted document and take necessary action.

Manual intervention of Stock Reconciliation is digitized which reduces the time taken for overall stock verification & approval process.
Elimination of manual documentation and missing instances due to manual interventions.
Compliance improvement for tracking the periodic review of stock verification.
Multiple Approval Process is configured as per availability of the User to reduce the processing time of reconciliation process.
Mail Notification has been configured for Notifying the Users on time.
Already 467 documents have been created and approved in the last 2 months.
