Coforge collaborated with a British multinational bank facing scalability and localization issues in their self-service payment inquiry system. The objective was to create a robust, cost-effective solution for global payment investigations, resulting in substantial savings.
The self-service application was severely limited in terms of scalability, stability and the localization involved in boarding the application to multiple operating units.
Solution.
Coforge engaged with the client to deliver a Payment Investigation System. Coforge worked with the Customer’s Payment Investigation Lines of Business to implement the solutions using Pega platform.
Coforge successfully deployed the Global Payment Investigation (GPI) system using Pega Smart Investigate Framework.
The system was implemented in more than 50 operating units and across 170+ countries.
The Impact
Coforge developed a highly reusable and scalable Full Policy Lifecycle Platform / Framework and managed to achieve 70% cost savings with the implementation of system in more than 50 operating units and across 170+ countries.
The Pricing Portal enabled business users to upload new rates and perform bulk testing.
The Application is exposed through multiple channels such as Web, Contact Centre, and Brokers
Coforge was able to establish Automated Underwriting process with pre-configured business rules.
Business users can now launch marketing campaigns independently using the application with minimal IT support.
