B2B2C Innovation: Building a Seamless Shopping Experience for US Retailer
Overview.
Coforge has migrated existing monolithic legacy B2B application to fully responsive B2B2C site along with enabling B2B mobile platform for one of the largest suppliers of specialty products to create digital shopping experiences with speed, simplicity & scale for B2B users. This resulted in ~75% increase in Digital Adoption (orders placed) and ~22% increase in Digital sales/revenue.
Our client, one of the largest US-based specialty retailers, was using a legacy desktop-based application to manage their large business orders (B2B) while having a well-established e-commerce application for their retail consumers (B2C/D2C).
To remove operational efficiencies and improve customer engagement, the client was looking to enhance its existing B2C site to enable it for the B2B2C channel along with building the foundation for future omnichannel experience.
Solution
Coforge has migrated the existing monolithic legacy applications to a fully responsive B2B2C site powered by microservices using Next JS, React 18, Storybook & integrated with the existing angular application
Set up B2B channel for “Quote to Order” & “Guided Bid Quotation” business processes, integrated with existing payment gateways and bloom reach headless CMS for personalized shopping experiences
