Architecting a Seamless Data Migration Strategy for a Leading Swiss Pharmaceutical Company
Overview.
The leader in pharmaceutical industry wanted to design and implement a comprehensive data migration plan for converting data from STAR, Athena, and SharePoint sites to the Veeva Vault system. The customer had various data sources, including inventory and cross-reference of source and target data elements, schema, metadata, and self-describing files. Coforge spearheaded a seamless data migration initiative by leveraging our expert approach ensured meticulous mapping of diverse data sources.
The customer wanted all the migration information, including the process of data extraction, transformation, and loading, necessary tools for execution, and a strategy for data quality assurance and control etc., to be assured of the success of this project. A total of 8M records containing 3M documents. The other essential records to be migrated include products, applications, Licenses, Submissions, Submission packages, Regulatory Activities, XEVMPD/IDMP, clinical studies and Non-clinical Studies.
Solution
Coforge provided the customer with a holistic approach to cybersecurity operations, which included people, process, and technology to address their requirements. The Coforge solution approach is described below:
