Eurostar International Ltd Chooses NIIT Technologies for Multi-Year Managed Services Contract

Multi-year deal strengthens NIIT Technologies’ European presence

New Delhi, 11th July, 2011, Monday:

NIIT Technologies Limited, a leading IT solutions organization, today announced that it has signed a multi-million GBP contract with Eurostar, the high-speed passenger service between the UK and mainland Europe, to provide infrastructure management services for its core business applications. NIIT Technologies was chosen to support the drive to improve efficiency as part of Eurostar’s ongoing focus on service quality.

Eurostar is the high-speed train service linking St Pancras International, Ebbsfleet International, Ashford International, Paris, Brussels, Lille, Calais, Disneyland Resort Paris, Avignon and the French Alps. Eurostar was established in 1994 as a partnership between three railway companies: SNCF, SNCB and LCR (London and Continental Railways).
